Gurugram: The Christmas celebration in a private school in Patudi was stopped on Saturday by a group of men who took a microphone from a priest who gave a lecture and shouted the slogan “Jai Shri Ram”.
The latest interference followed the protest organized by right-wing activists almost every week in the NCR district since October against the Muslim Community Community Church.
At Pataudi school, the House of Hope has held a “Christmas Milan”, whose theme is to make people aware of the “real Christmas meaning” through songs, dances and biblical teachings.
A number of children and women from the surrounding area have gathered for the event.
A few minutes into the program, a male group, who identified themselves as a member of the Dharam Jagriti mission, broke into the hall and alleged that the program was held for “Brainwash Children” and “prepared them for repentance”.
RP Pandey, President Clothing, said that even though Christmas Carols was being practiced in school for the past few days, they did not know about this program.
But two days ago, inviting sent to people from the neighborhood to attend the Christmas program.
“Through songs and dances they promote their religion and influence the minds of children,” Pandey said.
He claimed that most of those who attended the event came from a humble background.
Pastor said the House of Hope members had organized the event in his personal capacity.
“We were also present when the poor incident occurred.
They began to shout slogans and disrupt the program,” he said.
The pastor was said to be “unfortunate” a series of Friday prayer disorders since October and asked this correspondent not to reveal his identity or the name of the school where the event was held for fear of a counterattack.
He, however, said they did not want to file a complaint of the police.
“We believe in love.
We will not file a complaint,” he added.
A video circulated on social media showed a man grabbed Mike from the speaker and shouted the slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” when others joined.
Shailender Kumader, police station about Pataudi, said they had not received complaints.
This is not the first time right-wing clothes in Patudi lifting the field against what they suspect is religious conversion.
At Mahapanchayat on July 4, the Gunman who fired a group of citizenship amendments near Jamia Millia Islamia, allegedly made provocative speeches on certain communities.
In Kurukshetra, Bajrang Dal disrupted Christian events and played ‘Hanuman Chalisa’.
