Divisional review panel 84 rejected fra claims

Nagpur: Division-level Committee (DLC) discusses 84 individual forest rights (IFRS) based on forestry rights law, (FRA), 2006, and most likely will clean up most of them.
In 2012, all of these claims were rejected by the district level committee led by collectors due to lack of evidence.
However, on May 18, 2020, the governor has issued a modification of notifications in FRA, 2006.
Notification of the notification of the division-level committee under the leadership of the Division Commissioner to hear the district level committee application.
Therefore, the committee led by Divisional Prajaka Verma Commissioner, at a virtual meeting, reviewed 84 claims before the Secretary of the Ministry of Tribal and Commissioner of the additional Tribal Ravindra Thakre, Gadchiroli Forest Conservator (CF) Kishor Mankar, officers Nodal FRA cell Harish Bhambre and others.
Verma gives the patient to hear the prosecutor and verify the claim.
In a press release, the Division Commissioner asked to work positively at the delayed claims so that the tribes were badly getting justice.
Verma, however, did not respond to toi calls when trying to find out how many claims would be removed and why this was rejected.
Of the 84 IFR claims, most of them belong to other ethnic tribal tribes (OFTDS) from Bhamragarh, Sironcha, Allapalli, Gadchiroli and WADSA.
“Claims were rejected earlier because of the desire of substantial evidence such as caste certificates, 95 years of housing evidence, additional encroachment other than claimed soil etc.
Not all 84 claims will be resolved.
In the last meeting held in April, around 60 FRA claims approved by the Division Committee, “The source said that attended the meeting.
