Madhiri Dixit is believed to have been offered one of the main roles in the film Tahira Kashyap ‘Sharmaji Ki Beti’ more than a year ago.
But after some creative differences were trimmed between Maduri and the maker, both of them agreed to each other.
A source said, “The script has evolved significantly last year and Divya Dutta was brought by makers to play parts that were originally offered to Madhuri.”

‘Sharmaji Ki Beti’ is based on the experience of the modern Indian from a middle class woman.
The film, produced by Sameer Nair, Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar, Stars Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta and Saiyami Kher.
It offers a unique peek into urban women’s life, all with a public family name, Sharma.
‘Sharmaji Ki Beti’ is the film debut Tahira and in the last interview he has revealed that the story and character of the film is like an extension of his personality.
He has said that the character and situation in this film was inspired by his own experience and the people he had met.
The film began photographing last month in Mumbai and Chandigarh.
Ayushmann Khurrana has been taken to his Insta page and announced the film last month too.
