New Delhi: At the Dewali Bonanza for ordinary people, the price of gasoline and diesel throughout the country fell on Thursday after the center and countries announced heavy cuts in taxes.

The total increase in gasoline prices since the government’s decision on May 5, 2020 to raise customses to a record level has reached Rs 38.78 per liter.
Diesel rates have during this period up by Rs 29.03 per liter.
After the introduction of the Tax Regime and Services (GST), Customs are only collected on gasoline, diesel, ATF and natural gas.
All other items and services are under the GST regime.
