Ghaziabad: Rakesh Tikait Farmer Leader and other members of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) on Thursday moved the tent facing the police barricade on the NH-9 under the gate upward, sparking speculation that led agitation on the border on the border since last November Road for traffic.
The elimination of the tent was intended to make the point that the border of the ghazipur was reversed because Delhi police barricade, not the protest itself, whose farmers had argued at the Supreme Court during the conversation in Delhi in Delhi’s border.
Tikaites rang lectures, mostly on social media, that farmers emptied the protest site.
He said agitation would continue the same way at the Ghazipur border.
“There is no decision to attract movement,” said Dharmendra Malik, Media Bku was responsible.
There are premature claims that farmers will allow traffic to pass by removing the tent.
Tikait’s comments at the beginning of the day triggered it.
“We will go to Delhi.
We haven’t blocked the road.
We released our tents and Delhi police also had to remove their barricades.
Let people leave here.
We will also go to parliament if the barricade is removed,” said Tikait to the media.
Then, BKU leaders who have become a poster boy from agitation on new central agriculture laws, are claimed since Diwali around the corner, farmers only clean their tents and curtains.
“Rumors are being made about farmers who leave the border while showing cleaning videos carried out by farmers to Diwali,” he said.
However, removing several tents from the NH-9 will not make a difference in traffic in the area.
The camps that were shipped by protesters on the highway stretched all the way to Khoda Colony from the border and the whole area had to be cleaned for traffic to continue.
Police Delhi also had to remove barricades, several layers that have been installed on the border after the Fiasco tractor parade on the Republican Day.
Traffic to Delhi on the NH-9 and Delhi-Meerut Expressway through the gate has been suspended since the last week of November in 2020 when agritation began.
Traffic from Raj Nagar Extension, to Delhi through Jalan High Hindon, also suspended.
SP (Traffic) Ramanand Kushwaha told TOI removal of tents that did not make a difference for passengers traveling from Indirapuram and Noida who wanted to go to Delhi.
