Ahmedabad: The state government extends night hours until November 10 – including Diwali celebrations – in eight major cities Gujarat.
Time will remain the same from 12 midnight to 6 in the morning.
Old notice will expire on October 10.
The source close to the development says that the decision was taken in the light of a stable Covid case increase.
Cities include Ahmedabad, Letters, Vadodara, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Junagadh and Gandhinagar.
“The festive season is likely to witness an increase in the movement of citizens, and will be the time to maintain maximum care.
Thus, the night hours are extended a month,” said a state government official.
