JAMSHEDPUR: Denizens Buying a vehicle tire will get one liter of gasoline, free diesel as a gift in Diwali.
The city-based tire shop has launched a scheme in Dhanteras which aims to attract buyers by giving a liter of gasoline / diesel on the purchase of two tires.
The owner of the Gambhir Satnam Tires Singh Gambir said this scheme was limited to Diwali.
But he said the purpose of this scheme was not for profit.
“Gifting one liter of gasoline / diesel to the buyer in Diwali is an attempt to attract the government’s attention to the problems experienced by ordinary people because of the increase in fuel prices,” Gambir said.
At the time, three buyers received one liter of gasoline each to buy two bicycle tires.
“It’s fun to get one liter of gasoline as a free gift in Diwali,” Jayant Jaggi said, who took advantage of the offer.
The tire shop owner at Sakchi Kalimati Road said that every time the cost of onions and gasoline increased in recent years, he came with a different scheme that offered free onions or gasoline on tire purchases.
“In recent years, the price of onions used to decline after a certain period of time, this time is not the price of fuel and the price of onions decreases,” Gambir added.
The price of onions in the city ranges from Rs 45 and Rs 50 per kg.
Maintaining an increasing trend, gasoline prices are Rs 104.10 per liter and the cost of diesel rs 103.72 per liter in the city on Tuesday.
“Festival or normal day, people have become rationalized by gasoline.
Trends suggest that customers buy gasoline according to their daily needs,” said the gas station owner Harvinder Singh Bhatia.
