A British DJ, Mat Zo has been slammed because of his remarks for the K-Pop BTS superstar and the Korean music industry in general.
Music producers and DJs come down to Twitter to share their non-current thoughts about the K-Pop trends that have taken over the world.
“I am sure that K-Pop is still a niche in the West,” he starts and goes to ask, “Is it possible that the company pushes the BTS so hard because it doesn’t work? There are many Corp.
incentives for that K-pop cultural manufacturing model to work here”
In a series of tweets, he claimed that the global success of the band was supported by the company and said, “The music industry filters what is popular and the company follows, but it is risky causing popular artists who are harmless and difficult to control or predict.”

Sharing his observations against the BTS army handling Twitter, he said, “and it’s suspicious how every K-Pop Stan on the Internet has anime characters for their profile photos …”
“Don’t say they are not real but add to the false vibe.”
He also criticized the K-pop industry to “control” their artists and connect it to Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club.
He tweeted, “The problem with the Stars Disney era is not sustainable or easily treated without a public reaction, while the K-Pop star has every aspect of them under struct control and everyone knows and no one cares and no one cares.”
“K-pop does not hide the fact that it is produced by people who have the children to the cultural icon,” he wrote.
Fans and band supporters violate their statements, call them racist.
Some even explored his tweets from last year to declare that he was racist.
Following the reaction, he issued an apology to the band who said he “never intends to hurt or offend anyone.” He also announced that he would “stay away from social media” to reflect on his actions.
