Mangaluru: Covid-19 curve that spiking in Dakshina Kannada has encouraged the district government to restart operations at Covid Care Centers (CCCS), which has been closed when the curve is flattened on the second wave death.
Overall, 36 CCC has been set across the coastal district during, and for a short time after the second wave of Covid-19.

Kishore Kumar M told Tii, “Medical Officers at the Primary Health Center (PHCS) will monitor patients currently isolated at home, and decide whether they need to be shifted to the CCC.
Most of them have contracted infection at Dakshina Kannada is currently quarantined in their home.
Patients who live in a house where effective isolation is not suitable to be transferred to the CCC, and more such centers will be opened if needed.
“Like on Friday, Kasel was active in Dakshin Kannada standing on 2,990, among them only 184 were hospitalized – 165 of them in private hospitals, and 19 in government hospitals – while 190 were scattered at various CCC.
Nearly 87% of Covid patients are isolated at home.
More than 95% of Covid patients with isolated at home did not show symptoms of infection, Dr.
Kumar said.
“At the height of the second wave of Covid, we distribute a drug kit that contains paracetamol, vitamin C supplements, and anti-biotic tablets for those who are quarantined at home.
But members of the Technical Technical Advisory Committee Dakshina Kannada has suggested that the size like that is not necessary this time, because Medications can be wasted.
So, we have decided to provide drugs based on feedback from the health department personnel who have been deployed to ensure the condition of patients who are quarantined at home, “Dho said.
Dr.
Kumar added that the district had enough drug stock for Covid-19 patients currently being treated at a government hospital.
