DK: School for grade 8 to 10 sets to reopen

Mangaluru: Schools will be reopened for class 8, 9 and 10 in Dakshina Kannada District from September 17 and for grade 6 and 7 of September 20.

At present, 261 children undergo treatment for Covid-19.

He said the school had to continue the online class even after the start of the offline class.
“The approval letter of the parent must be obtained mandatory before allowing children to attend offline classes.
Students from Kerala must stay in hostels or they can continue to attend online classes,” he said.
The school must provide basic facilities including the toilet before the start of the offline class.
Teachers and staff must undergo Covid-19 tests regularly and ensure that parents of children who attend the class have no symptoms of Covid-19, he added.
