Ranchi: District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) has covered all villages under its sustainable encouragement to make people aware of their legal rights and social welfare schemes of national law and administration services.
Secretary of DLSA Kamla Kumari on Thursday said, “We discussed around 1,400 villages in the district in the first few days ago.
Our aim is to visit the population of these villages during the campaign that will continue until November 14.” He added that nine teams Consisting of DLSA and District Administrative Officers, legal volunteers, panel lawyers and Panchayat level workers covers between 45 to 55 villages every day.
He said that the team held a public meeting and also made a door-to-door drive in the villages under the action plan.
In addition to educating people about various NalSa schemes, including Tripti, Shrimev Vandate, Kartavya, Shakti and Manavta, the team also ensures the benefits of various government welfare schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Beware of Yojna, the victim’s compensation scheme, Manta and JiVan Jyoti Bima Yojna.
During the meeting on Kanke, DLSA told people about how they could take legal assistance after facing acid attacks.
In other camps, women, unorganized sector workers and physically challenged people educated about their rights.
The two-day exhibition – the awareness camp held by DLSA in his office concluded on Thursday.
DLSA facilitates the distribution of assets worth Rs 1.82 Crore among people.
This camp was inaugurated by the chairman of the Legal Legal Legal Jharkhand Authority Aparesh Kumar Singh.
