Thiruvananthapuram: The District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) has decided to provide legal assistance to both under tribal settlement sisters near Vithura, who allegedly faced sexual harassment.
Authority has now started steps to help the families of girls, aged 16 and 14, to take advantage of temporary assistance in the form of compensation for victims.

The DLSA will appoint an advocate to help families in getting interim assistance from the state of the state victim compensation.
Other assistance needed to do this case will also be given if needed.
Vithura police arrested two men on Monday on charges of sexual abuse of girls.
One of them Vinod, 32, is known to parents.
He exploited this relationship with the family and began to abuse children sexually.
He then took his friend to their home and harassed them.
The two men were accused of abusing the girls in their homes and Vinod’s house.
A few days ago, the girl’s parents knew about the crime and reported this problem to the police, which finally led to the arrest of the two defendants.
Vinod was arrested from his friend’s house and the second defendant was held from the coing.
