Chennai: Head of DMDK Vijayakanant on Wednesday announced that the party would compete alone in a local agency poll in nine districts in Tamil Nadu.
“DMDK will oppose the polls of the local rural body alone in nine districts,” Vijayakant said in a statement.
Prospective polls can obtain applications from the district party offices respectively on Thursday and Friday.
The charged application must be submitted to the same office.
Officials and party primary members are eligible to register.
The application fee for Pain Pancide Union Member is Rs 4,000 while Rs 2,000 for Post Panchayat Union Post.
