Salem: Minister Dairy S M Nasar on Sunday said Aavin had sent 1.5 tons of sweets produced for former Minister Dairy Rajendra Balaji for free during the Diwali festival.
“We have evidence for the same and strict actions will begin with the wrong Aavin officials and former ministers, if they are found guilty,” he said.
Inspection of Aavin factories in Thalavaipatti in the outskirts of the city and milk distribution in all districts on Sundays and interact with dairy agents and buyers in several places in the city.
The minister said milk sales have increased by 1.5 latris a day in a state after the DMK government reduces the price of Rs3 per liter.

We are in talks about rejecting all 236 people from their services.” The minister warns of milk agents by selling milk up and above the specified level.
“We have sealed 22 Parror Aavin in Chennai because selling milk with a higher level.” Nasar assured that the steps would be taken to establish an ice cream factory in Aavin’s place.
