DMK Starts free food Supply drive

Coimbatore: 2 weeks following AIADMK MLAs from the district sought consent by the state authorities to distribute free meals out of Amma canteens, minister for food and civil equipment R Sakkarapani, together with woods ministry K Ramachandran, found the initiative on Friday.
DMK will bear the costs for its food supply, ” the ministers said after inaugurating the driveway in the Amma canteen in Masakalipalayam in town.
“Since the amount of all Covid-19 cases are aggressively rising in Erode, Nilgiris and also Tirupur districts, a similar strategy will be implemented in these areas on behalf of DMK,” Sakkarapani informed reporters.
There are 15 Amma canteens at Coimbatore district, both of which five have been at town corporation limitation.
Countless people, particularly everyday wage workers and displaced individuals, rely on food in the canteens.
