New Delhi: Located in the middle of a beautiful greenery near Lake Sanjay, Trilokpuri-Sanjay Delhi Metro Lake Station from Pink Line (Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar) will be directly connected directly to the popular South Delhi market with a “missing link” in Trilokpuri finally bridged.
With footsteps that will rise, the station will boast of shopping centers, hotels, banks, offices, etc.
because Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is developing it commercially.
Because of the gap between Trilokpuri-Sanjay Lake and Mayur Vihar Pocket-1 Station, Pink Line functions as two separate corridors.
However, Viaduct between the two stations is now ready.
Immediately, the train will start running in court.
What functions like terminal stations will now be busy, thanks to direct connectivity with not only South Delhi but also West and North to Majlis Park.
Anuj Dayal, executive director (corporate communication), DMRC, said 2,526 square meters of areas at the station will be rented for commercial development.
“The successful bidder will be offered a 15-year-old room, which is located on the first floor of the station close to Lake Sanjay,” he added.
This station is located in the northeast suburb of the city and is located near residential locations such as Vinod Nagar, Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri, Mayor Vihar Phases 1 & 2, etc.
“Next, several CGHS Group housing projects such as Manu Apartments, Maitri.
Apartments, Una Enclave, Sahyog Apartments, etc.
are also around them,” Dayal said.
There are limited organized retail or commercial developments around the station, with the nearest commercial center that is organized into the center of the Vihar Mayur District, which is within a distance of about 5 km.
The station is also close to the Lake View complex proposed by Delhi Development Authority (DDA), which will appear along Lake Sanjay which covers around 27 hectares.
Dda has signed the MoU with the NBCC to develop an integrated complex.
“Development will increase the overall profile of the region in the medium term to length,” Dayal said.
“Space will be rented for certain purposes such as retail, organized commercial areas, offices, banks, etc.
The project site has a very good opportunity to become an important commercial center in this region,” DMRC officials said.
DMRC will provide separate access to the commercial area, regardless of the prominent and broad and, so the legs are increasing, the commuter base is captured.
The main commercial development is expected to be a shopping or complex center, department stores, discount stores or hypermarkets, showrooms for consumer goods such as clothing, electronics, general utilities, cars, etc.
from restaurants, fast food kiosks, and even a hotel.
Commercial development can also include educational institutions, coaching centers, computer training centers, etc.
With the increasingly popular e-commerce, space can also be used in part to set up a warehouse or shop.
The Sanjay Lake View Complex DDA is one of the city transit-oriented development projects, which will have highrise apartments, commercial development including hotels, and the development of the lake-front with Plaza, Promenade, and Skywalk.
A DDA official said, “This will help catalyze changes and increase areas and, in the end, restore sense of safety and social pride around the larger trilokpuri and kalyanpuri.”
