Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday almost interacted with DMS various districts, but Bengal DMS skipped meetings.
Some DM countries told TiI they did not have information about the meeting.
Previously, in May 2021, PM had interactions with DM but also, officials from Bengal had missed the meeting.
The Minister of Bengal Mamata Banerjee’s head last week twice marked his complaint to the change in the proposed IAS service norms for which he wrote twice to PM.
On Saturday, Modi held a discussion with DMS on the implementation of the major government scheme.
He tweeted: “One of the key factors behind the success of the aspirational district program is convergence.
When other people’s aspirations become your aspirations and when meeting other people’s dreams are the size of your success, then the task path creates history.
At present, aspirational districts remove barriers to progress In this country.
They become an accelerator instead of obstacles.
“Modi urged DM to set 10 goals that can be achieved in the next three months.
However, the MP Congress Trinamool Saugata Roy described the step to connect with DMS as “will weaken the country’s federal structure”.
He criticized the efforts of talking to the DMS on behalf of projecting projects without CM or the main secretary as an autocratic step.
“Because DMS works under the state government and is under direct control of CM and CS, every effort to achieve unwanted power.
For this reason, Bengal DMS did not attend the meeting,” said Roy.
PCC Head Adhir Ranjan Choudhury said: “BJP is trying to weaken Indian federal structures by all means and now PM wants to pass CM and connect with DMS, even though the DMS works under the state government.
Again, on behalf of changes in service rules all Indian service rules , this center tries to concentrate all strength in their hands, which cannot be justified.
BJP tries to ensure one country of administration, break down the federal settings.
