Nagpur: Even though there are funds that increased to total Tarring from several main roads and fixing holes in many ways from RS103.15 Crore to Rs 129.65 Crore at the current fiscal, there will be no change in the fate of the two main roads – Sawarkar Nagar Square to Ajni Square, and Mokshadham Square to St Bus Stand Square.
These two roads have many holes and bad surface layers have been lost again on improving works by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC).
In a doubtful record, both famous roads and widely used are not too asphalous for more than 20 years.
Citizenship officials were confirmed to TOI that both roads were not part of the 17 main roads chosen for total Tarring and repairs.

The road from Mokshadham Square to St Bus Stand Square will remain in phase-I, “they said.
Officials add a tender process from the remaining road left below the phase – I will be done in the coming days.

Anup Marar told the Toi that in the last 20 years, he had never seen NMC peek at the road.
“The way is in a bad condition for years now and causes serious discomfort for citizens,” he said.
The road has a large number of craters and surface layers on both sides broken for almost all stretches.
NMC carries out the patchwork every time they receive complaints from people.
The road was part of the phase-i implemented in June 2011 but not converted.
