During a conversation in Assam meeting, the resistance AIUDF feared the propsed invoice will promote events of mob lynching such as people at the”cow belt” in northern India. “We think that rabbit is our mother. We need that beef isn’t absorbed in areas where cattle are worshipped. I am not saying folks as a whole must depart their ordinary habits,” Sarma said. BJP MLA Mrinal Saikia stated,”As we’ve got a spiritual relation with cattle, they shouldn’t be slaughtered and retrieved in Hindu bulk localities. In cosmopolitan areas, the resorts must not sell beef. The proposed action should include all of these facets.”
