Gurgaon: The Ministry of Health on Thursday appointed a doctor related to Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) as a nodal officer in various regions in the city to ensure that all schools followed the Covid protocol.
The Nodal officer will conduct a surprise inspection in schools and will provide training to students and teachers, among other staff, in cough etiquette, hand hygiene, social distance and about various types of masks and how to use and throw it away.
The Ministry of Health has also issued a quick antigen testing kit to these doctors to identify positive Covid cases and ensure fast isolation to avoid the spread of infection at school.
The RBSK team will ensure that the protocol for house isolation is strictly followed by parents of children who test positively and visits will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
“We have a total of 12 RBSK teams, which will monitor all schools in the city.
Every team has three members and they will conduct a quick antigen test in students, which shows the symptoms related covid,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer in Gurgaon.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has decided to establish 55 government session sites in the city on Friday.
Of these, the covishield dose will be given at 49 sites, while Covaxin will be given on five sites.
Sputnik v will be given to the recipient on one site.
17,514 people in the age group 18-44 were vaccinated on Thursday.
In the 45-plus category, 2,593 people take photos.
Overall, 20,297 Jab is managed.
As many as 11,372 the first dose and 8,925 second dose were given to the recipient on Thursday.
