MUMBAI: A nurse also has registered an instance of sexual assault from a physician who perpetrated the offence to the pretext of quitting.
The case has been registered at Raipur on June 4 and afterwards moved into the Bandra police station for additional investigation.
The accused who’s in a practice period using a Khar-based multispeciality hospital has been in a relationship with a nurse in Raipur until he left for Mumbai.
“The nurse also has approached the authorities when she was not able to get in contact with the physician,” stated a Bandra police officer.
No arrest was made in the situation.
The physician was booked under the Penal Code section 376 (Rape).
Mumbai police spokesperson, DCP S Chaitanya verified the case enrolled at Raipur, Chattisgarh and moved into the Bandra authorities.
