Ahmedabad: A senior resident doctor at the Asarawa Civil Anesthetic Department, Chirag Chaudhary, allegedly tried to commit suicide by giving himself a deadly injection on Monday.
However, the police said even though he was found unconsciously, no one was obtained so far as long as the search proved to be convincingly that he tried to commit suicide.
Shahibaug Police Inspector K D Jadeja said: “On Monday afternoon, the police were told that a senior doctor, a doctor did not receive a telephone and his room was locked from inside.” Jadeja added: “We rushed to the hostel and broke the window to enter the room.
He was unconscious.” Jadyja said that the police at the scene did not find a suicide note or any trace of drugs that could be used to kill themselves.
“Once he gets back awareness, we will gather information from him,” Jadeja said.
Dr.
Chaudhary was previously related to the Institute of Kidney Disease and Central Research (IKDRC).
Some doctors in a civil hospital said that Dr.
Chaudhary might use injection in a suicide offer.
In fact, the elderly in a civil hospital was notified by several doctors that Dr.
Chaudhary tried to commit suicide at the previous job at IKDRC too.
Dr.
Rajnish Patel, an additional medical supervisor in a civil hospital, told Toi: “Dr.
Chaudhary joined the hospital earlier this year.
He has no problems related to work as far as we know.” The IKDRC officials said that Dr.
Chaudhary with the Institute of Up to 31 July, after that earn up.
“During his tenure, he had not shown signs of distress.
We have asked the authority of the civil hospital to shift it to our ICU if further treatment is needed,” said an IKDRC official.
Shahibaugh police told friends and colleagues Dr.
Chaudhary insisted that he was a simple person who never had a fight with anyone.
