Ludhiana: Bengaluru-based doctor has lost Rs 3.65 Lakh to a man based in Ludhiana with the pretext of getting the injection needed for the treatment of his father who suffers from mukorkosis.
The doctor has contacted the defendant after getting the number on Facebook.
Allegations have convinced to send 50 injection bottles through couriers.
However, after receiving the money, the defendant sent him footwear in the courier instead of injection.
The victim, Dr.
Mahesh Shekoba, has submitted a complaint to the police on May 29, after which investigation began.
After a seven-month investigation, the police on Tuesday submitted a sand against the defendant who was identified as Rohan Chauhan from Surjit Colony, Bhamiya.
Dr.
Mahesh said that he was a senior citizen at St Johns Medical College, Bengaluru.
His father Yadav Rao was diagnosed with musicycosis on May 7 and underwent a surgical debridement on the same day.
Posting the operation he starts at the injection of amphotericin B and the doctor has prescribed to continue injection for at least four weeks.
He added that because of the lack of injections he was looking for someone to give an injection.
Meanwhile, his friend shared the amount of accusations he found on Facebook, which was convincing to provide injection of liposome amphotericin.
“I spoke with the defendant for the first time on May 25 and the defendant assured me to give him 50 injection vails through couriers only after receiving payment.
The defendant first took RS 10,000 advance for an order and after that he moved him Rs 2 Lakh to follow the video Courier with my home address on it.
The next day I transferred more Rs 1.50 lakh into his account.

I received a courier on May 27 containing the footwear.
I called the defendant several times however He did not respond to my call and thus cheated me “added Dr.

On the same day, the victim filed a complaint with the City Police of Tammana Devi, from the Salem Tabri police station, said that the investigation was carried out by root crime after FIR had been submitted under Section 420 (cheating) the defendant.
The defendant will be arrested soon.
