Doctor goes on strike in Alappuzha

Kottayam: Government doctor in Alappuzha moved away from work on Tuesday protested police actions on attacks against doctors by CPM workers last month.
About 300 doctors took part in protest.
Striking doctors ensure that emergency services such as gynecology and trauma wings accidents continue to function.
The doctor at the primary health center to a large government hospital was kept away from OP operations, swab collections and vaccination drives.
Mass leave came after the Kerra Medical Officer Association (KGMOA) asked to intensify protests for police actions.
Meanwhile, an observer at Kayamkulam Hospital Taluk harassed the doctor and made an effort to bestow it.
No complaints have been registered in the police.
Dr.
Shyam Prasad, President Kgmoa, called the strike protest token and added that the association would plan further action based on the decision of the High Court about anticipatory assurance applicants from two accused of escaping according to claims.
If the court rejects their request, the police must arrest them, he said.
Doctors also demanded the formulation of uniformed guidelines for vaccination drives.

Fabric medical officer Panchayath Dr.
Sharush Chandra Bose was attacked by a group of CPM men led by President Panchayath M C Prasad.
Even though the police collected a case against three, they only arrested one and said that the other two fled.
However, the doctor who was attacked said that the other two including President Panchayath moved freely in Pancayath.
