Doctor ‘Leave’ cloth in a woman’s stomach

Shahjahanpur: The doctor at the government medical college here has been accused of leaving cloth in the stomach of a pregnant woman during a caesarean section in January this year.
The woman, who was treated at the center of Trauma Medical College King George was serious, said to be in a ventilator.
Noted this problem, the Principal of Medical College has formed an investigation team of three members, who have been asked to provide a report at the beginning.
According to complaints by Manoj, North Ramapur residents under the Tilhar police station, his wife Neelam (the 30s) had given birth to a baby girl on January 6 where the cloth was left in her stomach, said the Principal of Rajesh Kumar on Wednesday.
He said once he received a complaint, he formed the investigation committee, which consisted of Dr Archana, Dr.
Vibhor Kumar and Superintent Supervisor Sandesh Kumar.
He said legal action would be taken against the perpetrators based on the report.
Meanwhile, the woman’s husband told reporters that after the birth of their daughter, his wife used to complain of abdominal pain.
Without help from treatment by private doctors, he said he made him accepted in a private medical college in Shahjahanpur where CT scanning revealed that a cloth had been left in his stomach and was released through surgery.
He was then accepted at the center of Trauma Lucknow after his condition did not improve, he said.
The female father, Radheshyam, through the phone said his condition was very important.
He has been stored in the ventilator, he said.
