Letter: A 31-year-old homeopathic homeopathy killed his mother and sister before trying to commit suicide in their home in Kadagam on Saturday night.
Darshana Prajapati Inject Heavy Dosage Anesthetic Medication to Mother Mansanjul (59) and Falguni’s younger sister (29), a school teacher, before consuming 26 sleeping pills.
Timely action by his brother Gaurav helped save his life at Raksha Bandhan.
Police ordered Darshana for the murder of his mother and sister.
The complaint was submitted by Gaurav at the Chowk Bazar police station.
He recovered when he received a timely treatment.
The police recovered a suicide note from the house where Darshana claimed that he was sick of life and did not want to live.
“He told the police in his statement that his mother and younger brother were emotionally attached to him and used to depend on him because most of their needs.
He thought that their lives would become miserable after his death, therefore he killed them,” said a police officer.
The investigator said Darshana gave them a 10 ml injection of the anesthetic drug whose normal dose for patients was only two ml.
Because there isn’t enough this medicine at home, he consumed sleeping pills.
In his statement, Darshana told the police that he gave injection to the mother and sister who said that it was a pain reliever, because they both experienced joint pain.
Gaurav, who was married, told the police that there was no problem among family members.
The police claimed that further investigation after Darshana recovered would help know the right cause.
Gaurav and his wife went to Mumbai three days ago and returned on Sunday morning.
Darshana will die if Gaurav hasn’t reached the beginning, the police said.
When no one opened the front door Gaurav entered the house by opening the back door lock.
He was surprised to find his mother and sister died.
“Noting that Darshana had consumed some Gaurav drugs made her vomiting by putting her mouth.
Only quick action to him saved his life,” police said.
He then shifted from Darshana to the hospital and his treatment could begin.
Darshana practiced as a homeopathy doctor at her personal clinic she was running from a rented room.
The family lives in a one-story house.
