HUBBALLI: Within the previous 15 weeks, there were 60 attacks on physicians of which barely 10 percent of those cases are reported and FIRs registered at police stations, based on Dr Ganesh Prasad Mudraje, chairman, harassment poll, Indian Medical Association, Karnataka division.
“It’s ironic that despite being a regulation to act hard against criminals who assault doctors and vandalise hospitals, even in Karnataka barely some circumstances become enrolled while the remainder with compromise,” he explained.
“Over 100 physicians have now lost their lives through Covid-19 and several other people are infected.
Currently physicians are mad about the problem from the nation and there’s a demand for a fundamental law,” he added.
