Documents in services in GUJ strikes delay until January 16

Ahmedabad: After a round of talks with the state government of their delayed demands, doctors in the position of medical colleges managed by the Government and Medical & Education Universities Gujarat (GMers) have now set January 16 as their deadline, after that they will leave.

Gujarat Government Doctor Forum (GGDF), who has doctors from six government and eight GMers colleges as members, previously threatened to carry out unlimited attacks from December 13.

“The government has seen many of our demands, but the discussion is about some of our demands and we hope that the government will consider them before the vibrant Gujarat summit next month,” GGDF members said.
The GGDF has protested a reduction in salary and suppresses the demands of other pending pending.
Over the past few months, the professors have faced salary deductions in the range of Rs 25,000 to Rs 96,000 per month.
The government gave a darling allowance for about five months but decided to attract it, and recover the money paid from the salary of the professors.
Demands include higher non-practitioner allowances in line with the recommendations of the seventh payment commission.
Other requests are related to the removal of contract promises.
When medical college teachers are prohibited from personal practice, benefits are given to them as compensation.
Gujarat Medical Teacher Association (GMTA) Previously this year demanded that medical college teachers be allowed to begin personal practice after 10 years of regular services.
Citing Government Resolutions in 2017, GMTA seeks to increase on the lid on a monthly salary.
