Ranchi: The resident physicians of the country’s largest healthcare institute — Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) — Tuesday wore black badges in the office to protest Yoga guru Ramdev’s recent controversial comments against allopathy and naturopathic physicians.
Dr Vikas Kumar, the former president of Rims’ Junior Doctors’ Association (JDA), stated a bit over 700 resident physicians, such as junior and senior residents, participate in the protests on Rims campus.
“We wore black stripes on the job and hospital services served as regular,” Dr Kumar explained.
Backed by the Indian Medical Association, resident physicians also protested against Ramdev at different hospitals in New Delhi and across the Nation.
Lately, Ramdev was discovered terming allopathy as a”dumb science” at a movie footage, which travelled viral on social networking.
In addition, he asserted that dozens of Covid-19 deaths reported from the nation were due to allopathy.
In addition, he maintained the deaths of tens of thousands of physicians, who have been infected after carrying both drug doses, were due to allopathic therapy.
