Nagpur: a photo of a Talibani fighters carrying a assault rifle, with rustic countryside landscapes in the background, has caused storms in the city.
There was speculation that the man was Noor Afghani Mohammed aka Abdul Haq, which was deported in June to live illegally in the city.
City police have deported Mohammed after he was caught living in the city illegally in June.
However, the police refused to confirm controversial images were from Mohammed.
After coming to India on a tourist visa that has expired six months in 2010, Mohammed has reached Nagpur from Delhi and has lived here since then.
He used to sell blankets for livelihoods and also in illegal money loan business.
Avoiding intelligence agents and police, Mohammed also learned to buy property too.
Security agents in June claimed Mohammed was pro-Talibani, which was open support for Ultra-fundamentalist clothing based in Afghanistan proven in its social media activities.
A video, now in the ownership of Toi, was prepared by Mohammed where he threatened to eliminate other community members or unfaithful for opposing His religion.
With a dagger at hand, Mohammed vowed to punish other community members, spoke loudly in Pakhtoon.
This video was circulated in several groups, after which police got the instructions and went down to it.
The City Police Chief Amitesh Kumar said Mohammed’s activities, networks and contacts were thoroughly examined but did not seem to be involved in all types of activities that violated terror related law during their stay in the city.
“Deportation is a better choice than registering violations of illegal immigrants and extending their stay in the country to end,” said CP.
He added Mohammed to be deported to Kabul in Afghanistan.
“In the picture, it is difficult to say whether it is him or similar.
I interrogated Mohammed but his face didn’t seem to fit the man in the picture,” he said.
Kumar also said Mohammed was interested in ordering, so he could live in Nagpur, but we felt the opposite.
The police also said Mohammed had a sign of a bullet on his body, which he said to the officials who were interrogated, he suffered when the Taliban opened fire on them when they offered food to fellow villagers.
Security agents studied last week received a photo of an armed Talibani fighters through Mohammed’s friend in the city, said it was him, now part of the fundamentalist group in Kabul.
