While the latest developments in the case of Raj Kundra show that employers have now moved to the Bombay High Court challenging ‘illegal arrests’, according to Kundra’s report likely at the discussion stage to collect an international agreement worth 1.2 million USD with video sales ‘119 erotic’.
Previously on Friday when looking for custody of Raj Kundra in court, the police had claimed that Kundrra had assigned a plan to sell 119 ‘adult films’ for millions of people to ‘people’.
Investigative officials also wanted to investigate the transfer of funds allegedly from a sports betting company based in South Africa into a bank account Raj, police said.
The next report added that the police had confiscated a total of 51 obscene videos from the Kundra office during their search.
However, this does not end here, an employee who manages the Kundrra application account told officials that in August 2019 and November 2020, GBP 4,000 to 10,000 per month, the source claimed.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Crime Branch also recorded the actress Shilpa Shetty statement which was one of the directors at Kundra’s Vian Industries.
While Shilpa has denied its involvement in accusing violations of sexually transplicit content transmission, a source told Etimes, “The reason Shilpa has been under the scanner is that he resigned from the director’s position in Vian Industries.”
Reportedly, the actress also told the officials during the interrogation that the films available in the Kundrra’s Hotshot application were not ‘pornography but erotica’ while quoting ‘more obscene’ examples of other OTT platforms.
It all began when Raj Kundra was named the main conspirator in this issue by Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrery and arrested on July 19, on charges of making pornographic content and published it through a cellular application.
The case date returned to February when Mumbai police raided a bungalow on the island of Madh and damaged the racket for making a live porn video film.
While some arrests were made at that time and the name Raj Kundrra appeared in the probe after the property cell found the involvement of the British production company, Kenrin, whose executive, Umesh Kamsat was arrested by the police.
The room was a former employee of Raj Kundra and was accused of uploading at least eight videos “pornography and obscene” taken by Gehna Vasisth on social media applications for monetary considerations.
Shilpa’s husband Shetty Raj was also reported to be pulled for streaming porn videos through the ‘Hotshots’ application.
While Raj Kundra said that he sold the ‘Hotshots’ for $ 25,000 in 2019, however, the report also suggested that Raj Kundra and British-in-law-based Pradeep Bakshi work together in this application.
According to IANS, Raj is the owner of Vian Industries Ltd, while Pradeep Bakshi – A British citizen, who married Kundrra’s sister – was Chairman of Kenrin Ltd., London.
Both companies work on a mobile application called ‘Hotshots Digital Entertainment’, developed by Kenrin Ltd.
Raj Kundra reported supplying content and controlling British companies from the Vian Industrial Office.
Apart from Raj Kundra, Mumbai police also arrested him Ryan J Tharpe.
Previously, Mumbai police had caught nine people in this matter, namely, Actress TV Gehna Vashisht, Yasmin R.
Khan, Monu Joshi, Pratibha Nalavade, M.
Atif Ahmed, Diparkar P.
Khannavis, Bhanusurya Thakur, Tanvesh Kamathmi.
