Dog bites: Residents can move SC

Noida: problematic with the increasing number of dog bites, a group of residents has decided to submit a case at the Supreme Court next week.
They said that the case of dog bite increases in this district, both the Noida Authority has completed an agent for stretching stretchers, nor does the stock of anti-rabies vaccine (ARV) is always available in government health centers.
They added that while there were several provisions for dog safety, the law was silent on the safety of people from dog bites.
Estimates show that there have been more than 100 dog bites cases in the last 10 days of the entire city.
While anti-rabies vaccines are available in private hospitals, it’s expensive.
Each of five valuable rs 250-500 photos in private hospitals, total care becomes Rs 1,250-2,500.
However, there is usually no choice available because the dose seems to be in a short supply at the district hospital.
“One of our guardians was bitten last week.
We sent him to the district hospital but they told him that injection was not available.
This has happened in the past,” said Amit Gupta, President of Rwa Prateek Wisteria in Sector 77.
Source at the hospital The district said that there were shortcomings of continuous ARV shots in all states and injections not available for several months of last year as well.
Gupta added that he also submitted RTI last year with Noida authorities who asked for details of the number of sterilized dogs but no response received even though there was an appeal in RTI.
Noida authorities have employed two institutions for dog sterilization.
However, because the contract ended in March, there was no agency that had sterilized dogs in the city.
Without precautions in the past five months, dog bites cases also increase.
The expression (Eois) was warred on March 5 by the Noida Authority, but there was no agency that had been resolved.
“The contract ended in March, but we needed at least three fresh applicants for new tenders, which we did not have so far.
We have provided extensions to the previous agency for now,” said Indu Prakash, OSD, Noida Authority.
Meanwhile, advocates of animal rights show that dog sterilization is on time and planned is important for everyone’s safety.
Anuradha Dogra, a member of the community for the prevention of cruelty on animals (SPCA), “Unless there is a dog with rabies, usually no complaints bite indiscriminately.
Usually, a dog bite case comes when there is a woman with a puppy trying to protect it.
In the animal shelter on Noida, we accept several dog bites and, in many cases, they are not sterilized.
Even if the drive stops for several months, breeding will start from the beginning again and the whole effort will be in vain.
The only safe solution here is the drive Regular sterilization.
