Thane: Thane anti-human trade cells have damaged the sex racket operated in the cottage in Dombivli and saved four women.
As many as six people have been captured in this case so far and a manhunt has been launched to track others involved.
Acting on the tip-off, the police put a trap on Monday night and sent fake customers at the Sairaj Inn and Dormitory located in the Dombivli East, where the prostitution racket was being operated.
He was followed by a police team who then raided the cottage and arrested the defendant when freeing the women involved.
Two agents, along with lodge managers, cashiers and two servants were arrested by officials.
They have been ordered under various parts of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) including part 376 (2), 370 (2) and 34.
The four saving women have been sent to the correctional home.
Citizens are now questioning why local Dombivli police do not take action against sex rackets that are operated right in the middle of the city.
