New Delhi: There will be no capacity limit on scheduled domestic flights from October 18, the Civil Service Ministry said in the official release on Tuesday.
The airline will be allowed not to just return to the pre-pandemic level but beyond it also depends on the request.
This means that from the winter schedule – which comes into force from the end of next month – airlines can have a full complement from domestic flights.
Direct Update: Pandemic Covid-19 “After reviewing the current status of domestic demand scheduled Viz-A-Viz passenger demand for air travel …
it has been decided to restore domestic air operation scheduled with the effect of October 18 2021, without limiting capacity , “said the government in official notice.
“Airlines / airports operators will ensure that the guidelines contain the spread of Covid strictly obeyed and the right behavior of Covid is strictly enforced by them during the trip,” added round.
Scheduled domestic and international flights were suspended in March last year after the Pandemic Covid-19.
Domestic flights were allowed to continue from May 25, 2020 in one third of the pre-covid level.
Since then the spread of capacity has changed depending on Covid conditions.
From next week, restrictions will be relaxed and domestic flights can operate at full capacity.
International flights are being operated under air bubbles and Vande Bharat mission.
However, with the government that allows foreign tourists in Charters from this month and non-charter next month, the airline wonders whether international restrictions will also move a little.
