According to Civil Aviation Authority Nepal (CAN), the supervisory body, a total of 64 domestic flights will operate every day.
Authority has enabled 15 flights every day to Yeti Airlines, 31 to Buddha Air, seven to Shree air, three to Saurya Air, two to Nepal Airlines, two to Tara Water, two to air summit and two to confiscation.
The government has paved the way for domestic flights with conditions not exceeding 50% of the total seating capacity.

By 2020, domestic passenger traffic at Kathmandu Airport fell to the lowest level since 2009, but airline officials said that domestic operators had recovered almost 90% of the number of pre-covid passengers.
According to statistics, the domestic airline brought 1.45 million passengers in 2020, plunging 54.28% from 2019.
