New Delhi: Terminal-2 Delhi Airport (T2) can immediately continue the operation.
While Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) does not provide dates, India’s largest airline, Indigo, said on its website T2 will continue the operation from next Thursday, July 22.
“The flight number 6e 2000-6e will arrive and depart from terminal-2, Delhi, start July 22, 2021.
Please check your flight number and terminal before leaving for the airport for a troubled trip,” said Indigo message.
Call officers say T2 can be opened this month.
“We handle the peak of 1.2 lakh passengers every day (domestic and international) this February, the highest since the Covid outbreak in March last year.
During the second wave, this number fell to 30,000, but we are currently around 60,000 passengers every day, “An official said.
Dial has suspended operations on T2 on May 18, 2021, and T3 is currently being used at Indira Gandhi International Airport for all international and domestic passengers, such as April-September 2020.
