Hyderabad: Some of Nepal allegedly entered the house locked from their employers in Raidurgam on Sunday and escaped with 1.1 kilos of gold and Rs 10 lakh cash.
The defendant turned off the camera and the police launched a hunt for arresting the perpetrators.
The incident occurred at the house of broker B Govinda Rao in Telecom Nagar from Gachbowli on September 18 according to police, Govinda Rao along with his family went to Srisailam on September 18 morning.
“When Rao’s family returned home on September 19, they found lost items,” ACP, Madhapur, said Ch Raghunandan Rao.
Govind Rao filed a complaint with Raidurgam police and a registered burglary case.
In his lawsuit to the police, Rao thought that four months ago, his previous housemaid, Yam Lal from Nepal returned to his place of origin after introducing some Nepal, Laxman, 34 and Pavitra, 30, working as domestic helping.
The couple broke the window glass on the first floor and erased the grill.
They entered the house and broke the bedroom key.
The key to lockers is available in the closet and the couple stole 1.1 kilos of gold jewelry along with Rs 10 lakh cash, said ACP.
Three special teams have been formed to track and arrest the defendant.
