New Delhi: With a second wave of deadly Covid, subside, India saw 50.1 lakh flying people in this country July – up 61% from 31.1 lakh in the previous month.
January, February and March, 2021, view flight flight recovery smart with more than 77 lakh domestic passengers in each of the months.
Then when the second wave devastated increased, the number fell to 57.2 lakh in April with ups and downs that came at 21.1 lakh.
Since then because the situation is gradually enhanced, the numbers began to look up.
First rose to 31.1 lakh in June and then touched the 50 lakh sign last month.
In July, 2021, DGCA data showed Indigo dominating domestic sky with 58.6% marketshare.
After that, only Air India had a domestic market in two digits at 13.4%.
All other airlines in one digit with major players in – Spicejet (9.1%), Vistara (8.1%) and Goair (6.8%).
AirAsia India (AAPL) has shrunk and contributed only 3.3% marketshare.
On the contrary, AirAsia India’s domestic market share was at 7.3% in pre-covid February 2020.
Tata Group has an offer for Air India through AAPL.
Last month saw SPicejet domestic flights which were most fulfilled with 74.6% residential aircraft, followed by Vistara at 69.2%.
