Domestic season: Ranji trophy from November 16, more than 2100 matches scheduled

New Delhi: BCCI will do all its domestic tournaments in all age groups with trophy ranji coveted, starting November 16, becoming a marquee event between 2127 matches scheduled for 2021-22 seasons.
Last season, BCCI could not carry out the age group tournament and was forced to cancel the Ranji trophy due to Covid-19 pandemic.
However, the full domestic season will take place this year with Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 held from October 20 and the one-day national championship for the Vijay Hazare trophy is scheduled from February 23, 2022.
“The season will begin on September 21., 2021, with the League of Women’s One Day Senior and will be followed by a senior challenger trophy of a senior woman, which will take place from October 27, 2021, “said Secretary BCCI Jay Shah in the media release.
The final trophy of Syed Mushtaq Ali will be played on November 12, 2021.
Trophy Ranji who is coveted will be played in a three-month window from 16 November 2021 to 19 February 2022.
The final trophy Hazare Vijay will take place March 26 2022.
