Dominica Court Interim Bail Grant To Mehul Choksi

New Delhi: The Dominican High Court on Monday gave a temporary guarantee to Diamantaire Mehul Choksi with medical reasons.
Choksi will now travel to Antigua and Barbados.
He has been given a guarantee to be certified to travel.
The 62-year-old fugitive was sought in India in connection with 13,500 crore rs fraud at Punjab National Bank (PNB).
The Fugitive Diamond Merchant recently approached the Dominican High Court who was seeking a Judicial review, claiming the misuse of the process in connection with the process of prosecution of illegal in it.
He has received temporary assistance from direct repatriation to India by the Dominican court.
Choksi lost from Antigua on May 23 after going out for dinner and was immediately arrested in Dominica.
He was indicted in illegal by the police in Dominica after he allegedly fled the Antigua and Barbuda in an effort that was possible to avoid extradition to India.
