NEW YORK: Former US President Donald Trump Absent at the official 9/11 warning ceremony in New York City and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama and Bill Clinton all attended a gloomy ceremony on Saturday morning at National September 11 Memorial in New York City where the World Trade Center tower fell two decades ago, reported the Xinhua news agency.
Biden traveled next to the 93 flight warning in Shanksville to attend the glove ceremony.
Previously, former President George W.
Bush and Vice President Kamala Harris both spoke at the warning.
Trump, instead of appearing at the ceremony, did a few blocks from the Trump Tower building in Manhattan to the 17th police station and a fire station in New York City.
During the stop without notice at the Shanksville firefight department, Biden praised Bush because he encouraged American unity in his speech.
He also defended his government handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan in a brief comment to the press pool.
Biden’s last stop that day was the National 9/11 Memorial, where he attended the gloves ceremony with Jill Biden’s first woman, Vice President Kamala Harris, Defense Secretary of Lloyd Austin and General Mark Milley, chairman of the head of the joints, from the staff.
Biden did not give formal comment on Saturday but released a video statement on Friday recognizing a lost life in the most deadly attack in US history and called for national unity.
The September 11, 2001 attack, a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks carried out by the Al Qaeda Terror group.
Four commercial aircraft were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists.
The first plane to reach its target is American Airlines Flight 11.
It was flown to the North Tower of the World Trade Center Complex in Manhattan Lower Manhattan.
Seventeen minutes later, the South World Trade Center tower was hit by United Airlines Flight 175.
Both towers 110 floors collapsed within one hour and 42 minutes, leading to the collapse of other world trade centers and damaging the surrounding buildings.
The third plane, American Airlines 77 flights, crashed into the west side of the Pentagon which caused some of the collapse of the side of the building.
The fourth jet, United Airlines flight 93 flown towards Washington, D.C., is the only one who is not about the intended target, instead of crashing into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Then determined that the 93 flight target is the White House or Capitol.
2,996 people were killed in the attack, the most deadly in human history, with more than 25,000 others.
