WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump urged the Senior Justice Department official to declare the results of the election 2020 “corrupt” in December telephone calls, according to handwritten notes from one of the participants in the conversation.
Note on December 27, released Friday by the House Supervisory Committee led by Democrats, underlined the length of Trump to cancel the election results and to obtain support from law enforcement officials and other government leaders in the effort.
“Say the election is corrupt and leave the rest to me and members of Congress R.,” said Trump at one point to the prosecutor General Jeffrey Rosen, according to the record taken by Richard Donoghue, an official of the Senior Justice Department who was calling.
