Don’t be jammed in hopes, PM hopes good luck athletes before the Olympics

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacts with an Olympic bonded contingent who will seek to make the country proud of the upcoming Tokyo match, starting July 23.

Nethra kupanan is the first female sailor from India to qualify for the Olympics.
Sajan Prakash and Srihari Nataraj are the first swimmers from India to qualify for the Olympic match by reaching the ‘A’ qualification standard in swimming.
The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has confirmed that the Boxer Mary Kom and the Hockey team of Manpreet Singh’s captain will be a bearer for the Indian contingent at the Tokyo Olympics who will come at the opening ceremony.
Wrestler Bajrang Punia will be a flag bearer at the closing ceremony.
The Indian contingent will leave for Tokyo on July 17.
The Olympics will run from July 23 to August 8.
