Patna: Minister of Nitish Kumar’s chairman on Monday asked people from other parts of the world not to come to Bihar if they want to consume liquor as long as they live in dry conditions.
Overcoming a general meeting in Sasaram as part of his social reform campaign, Nitish said some people recently suggested that people who come from outside the country should be permitted to drink liquor.
“It’s impossible at Bihar.
We will not let anyone drink liquor at Bihar.
Should I notify the people who come to Bihar to drink liquor here? Please don’t come to Bihar if you think of drinking liquor, “Nitish said.
CM has reached the Sarasaram, about 160 km to southwest from here, at the third leg of his long long campaign he launched in Motahari on December 22.
