The state government has written to the National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) who asked private companies to extend work from home options for most employees up to 2022 December or staggered for employees who work physically in the office.

The letter stated that Metro’s construction on ORR could last for two years, making it very difficult to manage traffic movements on ORR.
BMRCL has occupied the median center, reducing the main carriageway.

“How can BMTC expect people who live around 2-4 kilometers of radius from the bus lane hoping to take a bus if there is no first and last connectivity? There is no one bus plying to Kasavanahalli or haraling,” he said.
He Sid BMTC did introduce new bus services in the past but they suspended services because the bus route was unfavorable.
“BMTC has provided bus services at 7:30 a.m.
and others at 10:30 a.m.
Supporting public transportation states that the removal of the bus lane is not a rates require.
They want BMTC to increase the bus frequency instead.
