Margao: The administration of the South Goa district has directed certain secondary schools planning to conduct an offline exam for their students starting next week not to do it because it will violate the boundary hours of night.
In a letter aimed at the principles of Rosario Middle School in Navelim, Carmel High School in Nuvem, and the higher St Andrew Middle School in Vasco, the Ramesh Gaonkar South Collector Deputy Gaonkar caught their attention on orders for South Goa collectors released below Section 144 CRPC on August 15, which states, “School exams and holding competitive examinations are permitted only with previous government approval.” The source said that the three schools had to hold an offline exam from Monday.
Section of Rosario Middle School, Navelim, has taken an exception to this and has taken it to the district administrative notification.
The AAP Pratima Coutinho official has also taken the problem and has urged the Head of the Pramod Sawant Minister to intervene and resolve this problem.
Students have shown that other schools conducted an online exam and demanded to find out why they were exposed to the threat of Coronavirus.
