‘Don’t just look for work, be a job creator too’

Nagpur: Institute of Indian Information Technology, Nagpur (IIITI-N), conducted a virtual first meeting for two groups of first graduates of 2020 and 2021, on Friday, on the newly built Warana Campus in Wardha Road.
Director of the Institute, Registrar, Dean, Board of Governors, and Senate Members, are in Dais.
Chairman of the Board of Governors (BOG) K Sanjay Murthy, Secretary (Higher Education), the Ministry of Education took the lead.
The State Minister (MOS) for Sarkar Subhas education, which is a major guest, urges students to remain steadfast in their efforts to the creation of modern Indians.
He also emphasized the different fields of ‘Indian knowledge systems’, citing examples of Vedas rigs, and describing various Yantranavam silk, YukticalPataru, Vimanasutram, and Roudridarpana Yantram.
The minister further said that finding work should not be the only purpose of a student, and that they must also emphasize worklines.
“Our prime minister repeatedly told us that start-up was the new Indian backbone.
The government has liked start-up, both in the software and manufacturing sector.
So, you must continue and embrace all opportunities that approach you,” he said.
In his opening comment, Director of the Compakshas Kakde read the Institute report, registering achievements.
He also congratulated students who graduated and urged them to stay in touch with their alma mater.
Murthy congratulated students graduating and advised them to devote time to work on the challenges faced by the community by providing innovative solutions.
He also urged students to foster entrepreneurial skills to help open the way for the development of products ‘made in India’ and ‘Indian Digital’ services.
“The skills you have learned during your degree will be useful in achieving the goals of the ‘Digital India’ program,” he said.
The Institute provides 195 degrees undergraduate, where 47 (27 CSE and 20 ECE) have a batch of 2020, and 148 (93 of CSE and 55 ECE) is 2021 batches.
In addition, 50 postgraduate diplomas in information and communication technology are given to military officers of the College of Telecommunication Engineering, Mhow.
Anushree Laddha (CSE Batch) won the ‘academic excellence award for 2020’, and Ankit Barai (CSE Batch) won it for 2021, while Cartik Gupta pocketed the highest package RS46.75 lakh per year between the two batches.
