Panaji: Before the Covid Pandemic swept the country, people who experienced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) might lead their lives with cough attacks and wheezers, and many, especially those who live in rural areas, can easily brush the conditions as ordinary colds.

The doctor said comorbidity should not be taken lightly because it increases the chances of worsening a person’s condition in positive testing for Covid-19.
In fact, some people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease have died during a pandemic, and most of them come from country rural parts.
“The problem in Goa is that people tend to dismiss the COPD as a simple cold.
