Ranchi: Acting in the Anniversary of the Ministry of Health Under the AEGIS National Tuberculosis Removal Program (NTEP), the State Health Department has begun the survey of the door to the door to identify direct tuberculosis patients (TB) patients.
This survey aims to identify new TB cases and to provide adequate supplements for their nutritional balance according to NTEP.
Asha workers along with Box and District TB officials will visit the door to the door in villages and urban areas to collect phlegm suspected of being patients.

Marshal Aaind, said, “As part of the TB elimination program in the state, we have completed the formulation of micro plans and updated backlogs from patients to transfer directly to the benefits (DBT scheme) provided Rs 500 for nutritional food.
In addition, we have conducted an IEC program in all states between 11 and 21 September to create awareness among people so that more and more suspected patients can submit testing phlegm during the survey.

Aain said, “We started the survey on Monday and we hope that all 24 districts will be completed on or before October 31.
We have also asked all our district cells to review the old database of patients who do not get funds under NTEP.
“According to the records of the State Health Department, more than 35,000 people were identified as the case of TB directly D I all states and they have been connected with their district TB cells for treatment and financial assistance.
Asked about the protocol for the alleged election of patients and their testing, Dr.
Aaind said health workers would provide sample containers to patients suspected of being symptoms of TB.
The patients must gather overnight phlegm which will be sent to the lab located in each district after collecting by health workers.
After the test report is complete, health care workers will map patient data and will send them to RNTCP cells and state health departments so they get the benefits of NTEP.
