PATIALA: Patiala District Administration, coordinating with the Ministry of Health, has succeeded in ensuring the coverage of 100% in 11 villages so far, under the Door Door vaccination campaign.
Patiala Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit said the district government has begun with villages that have a 40% or higher vaccine coverage.
“Our team removes misunderstandings about vaccines,” he added.
He expressed hope that success in 11 villages would further inspire the others too, to save the district of the third wave of Covid who will soon occur.
11 villages are Khokh, Mungo and Wazidri in Bhadson, Sainserwal, Thera, Shekhupura, Rasolpura Jora in Kaiti (Patiala), Dudhan Sadhan in Dudhan Sadhan, Rampur Dugal in Patran, Ajit Nagar and Talwandi Kothe in Samana.
Kumar Amit said, “We move towards the completion of the 100% vaccine coverage target by selecting 10 villages per week in each block.
The health team works in coordination with the Department of Rural and Panchayat Development, Income, Cooperation and Agriculture and the Welfare of Farmers to make districts vaccinated.
